Welcome to Cremation Ashes in Glass. My name is Jet Couwenberg, artisan glassworker and maker of handmade memorial items. From my studio, I work with care, attention and love on each unique piece – with the aim of creating a tangible memory that really suits you.
What drives me
Saying goodbye touches deeply. That is precisely why I believe in the importance of a personal object of remembrance – something that gives comfort, is powerful in its simplicity or subtle and symbolic. Each piece is created with genuine involvement. Not from the crowd, but with an eye for your story.
Craftsmanship and collaboration
I make a large part of my collection myself in my glass studio. In addition, I work together with other glass artists and selected dealers, where I then personalize and finish each piece myself. Whether it’s a one-of-a-kind urn, a mini-urn or a memorial piece of jewellery – each item is customised by hand and carefully finished. This creates a special memory object that suits you.
I combine classic craft techniques with modern applications: glass blowing, sandblasting, resin, stainless steel and sign foil. Everything comes together in my studio, where every detail is finished with attention and feeling.
Personal guidance
I will guide you step by step in this process. Whether you choose a small piece of jewelry or a larger urn: I look with you, think along with you and take my time. I also help you on your way with clear instructions when sending cremation ashes or hairs. Because this is sensitive material, it is extra important that you read the shipping rules carefully in advance. In this way, together we ensure safe and respectful processing.
