Disclaimer – Cremation Ashes and Memorial Items

 

My services consist of processing cremation ashes into memorial items such as urns and jewelry. I always carry out this work with the utmost care and respect.

 

1. Handling of Cremation Ashes

Cremation ashes are processed in my studio with the greatest care and attention, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

 

2. Shipping of Cremation Ashes (sent by the customer)

Sending cremation ashes to my studio is always at the customer’s own risk. Although in practice this usually goes smoothly with recognized carriers, I cannot accept liability for any loss, delay, or damage to cremation ashes that occurs during transport.

 

Quantity of Cremation Ashes

Only a small amount of cremation ashes is required to create a memorial item. In most cases, about two teaspoons per item are sufficient. You never need to send large quantities of ashes. It is solely a small symbolic amount that is processed into the jewelry or memorial item – not a full urn filling.

 

3. Shipping of Urns and Memorial Items (from Crematieasinglas.nl to the customer)

All urns and memorial items – whether made of glass, ceramic, wood, metal, or other materials – are carefully crafted or personalized, checked, and securely packaged by me. If damage unexpectedly occurs during transport to you, please report this as soon as possible together with clear photos of the damaged item (and no later than 14 days after delivery). I will always ensure that we work with you to find a suitable solution.

 

4. Returns by the Customer (product sent back to Crematieasinglas.nl)

When returning a memorial item to me (according to the return policy), transport is at your own risk until the moment it is received by me. Please package the item securely, use track & trace, and keep the shipping receipt. I cannot reimburse damage or loss that occurs during this return transport.

 

5. Issues upon Delivery

If a problem occurs (for example, transport damage), please report this in writing within 14 days and include clear photos of the product, packaging, and shipping label. I will always think along with you to find a suitable solution.

 

6. Return Conditions

Returns are only possible in accordance with the applicable return policy.
Please note: urns or memorial jewelry in which cremation ashes have been placed or processed cannot be returned.
Urns or memorial jewelry with deep engraving by sandblasting or laser engraving also cannot be returned.

 

7. Acceptance of Terms

By using my services, you agree to these terms and confirm that you are aware of the risks involved in sending cremation ashes and memorial items.
